The Northern Nevada and Washoe Valley region encompasses cities, towns, and villages in Washoe County and also extends to portions of Storey County, Lyon County, and Douglas County.

As of the 2010 census, the Washoe Valley region had a population of 2,761,584 people.  Reno, known as the “The Biggest Little City in the World” hosts many events all summer long with events such as the Rib Cookoff, Hot August Nights, Street Vibrations, Air Races, Balloon Races and much more.

Reno is known for its university, University of Nevada Reno.  Reno is also quickly becoming a tech hub with companies such as Tesla, Panasonic, Google, Apple, Amazon and Ebay building gigafactories, warehouses and super campuses.
